The poster has been damaged with scuffs/scratches along full width in the centre leaving white marks along full width of poster across main image. Although damaged still displays ok as pictures show. Wear on poster front and back and dog eared top right. Please see all pics. For any further pictures please let me know. A very rare poster in fair condition from 1984. This was hung in Palace Pictures offices who were the UK distributers and responsible for commissioning Graham Humphreys to produce the iconic art work, I met the lady who had this along with the Evil Dead poster i also obtained at the same time. This is a card poster, similar to the ones used as premiere boards and is probably a one off. I have never seen another in 20 years of collecting and will be sorry to see it go. Good minus condition, no pin holes, several surface creases some with print loss, 5cm tear on the bottom edge has been repaired with tape on the reverse, several creases and two 1cm tears in the bottom left corner, 2cm tear on left side edge, creases and very small tears in the top left corner, 2cm tear on the right side edge has been repaired with tape on the reverse, wear and some print loss to the folds, please zoom in to photos for detail of the condition. Has been stored folded will be posted folded in a protective sleeve in a cardboard backed envelope with extra cardboard for protection. The art on Quad posters is almost always different to that used on US posters, which makes them very collectable. The majority of the pre-1980’s posters were folded and collectors do not consider machine folds/fold lines for pre-1980s materials to be defects. Packaged and labelled accordingly. CONDITION: never folded, card poster. This is not a quad backed onto card but a specially made card poster. This was hung in Palace Pictures offices who were the UK distributers and responsible for commissioning Graham Humphreys to produce the iconic art work, please see the attached provenance letter, a copy of which will be provided with this poster. This is a card poster, similar to the ones used as premiere boards and is probably a one off. I have never seen another in 20 years of collecting and will be sorry to see it go.
